Cassopolis FFA Goes to Congress

On December 4th, The Cassoplois FFA Parliamentary Procedure team was honored on the floor of the Michigan Senate. Senator Jelinek presented them with a framed commendation and they were treated to a standing ovation by those senators in attendance. It was an amazing honor and well deserved. After that, they team was again honored on the house side by Representative Schaffer and treated to the same applause. After that, the whole team was treated to lunch in Lansing to celebrate the honor.
On December 8th, the team was recognized by the Cassopolis Board of Education with a small reception. The parents then presented them with a banner that will be hung in the gym along with the athletic banners. In addition, on December 15th, Michigan State University, the state sponsor for all FFA teams, will honor them at a reception in Lansing. This team represents the best and the brightest and we could not be prouder!
