MEAP Week

WOW! This has been a very busy week. MEAP testing happened all week, and in addition we tested the 9th grade with Explore, 10th grade with PLAN, and the 11th grade took a practice ACT. (The seniors spent the day talking about how to fill out applications for colleges and scholarships.) All of these tests lead one into next, and the teachers use the results of these tests to improve what and how we teach to make certain our students can continue to receive the best possible education.

In two weeks I will go back to high-lighting a teacher and what is happening in his/her classroom, and I will also put a report on that allows you to see the great strides we are making to improve the test scores of our students, but starting Wednesday I will be putting updates of our journey at the FFA National Convention in Indianapolis each night. We are competing for the top spot in the nation in the areas of Agricultural Issues and Public Speaking, having won the state championship in these categories during the competitions last March in Lansing.

If you can't wait until the evening, you can get more immediate results by signing on to twitter at http://twitter.com/cassopolisffa. I will be posting as things happen in real time.

Finally, I have two important documents. The first is regarding an issue on the buses called Angel Seating and the second is regarding the H1N1 flu. Please click on the titles to look at these documents and feel free to call the office if you have any questions. Now I have to get ready for senior night at our last home football game, so have a great week!
